Comparison of terpene profiles across cannabis strains

This study describes the use of GCxGC–FID for profiling terpenes in cannabis. A key feature is the enhanced separation provided by GCxGC, which allows common co-elutions to be resolved, improving confidence in compound identity and data quality.

GCxGC–FID can provide increased precision in flavour interpretation, enabling improved product labelling. It can also provide lower running (and capital) costs through the use of INSIGHT^® flow modulation.
